Meet Mrs. Wohlford

Mrs. W Facts:

I am a child of God and I strive to live my life for Him.  My greatest loves in life are God, my family, and teaching.

Jenison Christian has always been a part of me and close to my heart.  I grew up in Jenison and went to JCS from Kindergarten through 8th grade. I graduated from Unity and Grand Valley and continue to work on my masters at Grand Valley.

This is my 11th year teaching at JCS.  I started out teaching first grade, then I taught a first/second grade combination for a few years,then a year in second and a year in first, and now I am back teaching the combination.  I feel I am right where God has called me to be.  I love teaching at JCS and in the lower elementary. My favorite things about first and second graders are their excitement, the ah-ha moments in learning, all the missing teeth, and most importantly seeing their faith grow.  

My husband Josh and I have been married for 12 years.  We have been blessed with three fun-loving kids.  Our oldest, Ben, is 10 and in fourth grade at JCS. Josie is 5 and in kindergarten at JCS, and Max is 3 and in the 3's preschool.

As a family we are always on the go.  We love spending time camping and playing on the beaches of Lake Michigan.  We are also avid Tiger fans!

We live in Hudsonville and go to Cottonwood Church in Jenison.  In my "free time" I enjoy sewing and baking. 

I am thankful to be able to partner with you this school year.  Relationships are so important to me and I am excited to get to know you and your child.
